I am a girl who has rediscovered my passion for writing- I graduated with a degree in Journalism and ended up in advertising doing everything but writing. I needed to get back to my roots and was fortunate enough to hook up with an old boss of mine who needed a writer, and we've been working together for almost two years, writing about everything from trends to leadership to politics and back again. I'm looking for gigs with smart people that need a ribald brand of content that is breezy, easy, and fun to read. I can also whip up speeches and presentations like mad, but I'm most known for my bloggish style and ability to turn around content quickly, efficiently, and professionally.

I don't just look, I really see.: What sets me apart from the pack of writers currently sitting in coffee shops that offer free wireless on most afternoons in Brooklyn? I'm somebody who has always had the ability to not only look at things, but see why they matter and why they should be talked about. I have a great frame of reference for anything and everything, and my love affair with pop culture and how it has changed the world allows me to not only be a fun dinner party guest, but also someone who can write up a storm and see things differently.

Work History

Generalist, Many
1993 — Nowish

I've been lucky enough to work for some of the smartest people on Earth. I used to be a photographer's representative, then traveled across the street to Young and Rubicam where I became a trend forecaster, then moved on to being a producer for Crispin, Porter + Bogusky where I produced photo shoots and illustration projects for some of the world's biggest brands for almost 7 heady years. I ended up in PR there as well, and left to pursue a career as a writer, of which I am extremely passionate. I moved back to New York to do just that. I've been freelancing for agencies like JWT, W+K, and Anomaly as well as stints at Google Creative Lab, Facebook, and IPG Media Labs.
